Looking up the street

This is a view down the street or South. The house to the left is the Lands and Records office which lists all the members that lived here in the 1840's before the town was abandoned.  We found a Seger relative, we think, there.

This is just to the right of our triplex and the houses behind it.

This is the view from our front door.  Note the "Whack a moles" in the ground.  The state highway 96 is in the distance.  Not a lot of traffic on it this time of year.  Take it to the right and you end up in Keokuk and farther it goes into Quincy. 

We went to the community Easter celebration at the stake center last night.  They have some really talented people in this area.
