Just got to do a little catching up...

We spent a little time in the Women's Garden in Nauvoo on the 4th.  These are some of Arlene's favorites.

Some of the bronze statues.
Of course, the first one is Joseph and Emma.
"Woman and Her Talents"
"Courtship for Eternity".  I could only get the title of the piece from this angle.
"Preparing Her Son".  Any guesses why this one was on her list?
"Fulfillment".  I especially like this one because of the way the artist had the quilt flow over the base.
"Joyful Moment" is nicely done.  One of my favorites.
A parting shot of the garden...
One last loving look at the Visitor's Center before we depart...
Later that evening we had dinner at the Warren's apartment with another couple that are serving in the Carthage area as missionaries preserving records in the county courthouse.  They had quite a story to tell about how they were able to get permission to do the records there and how it all came about.

Arlene, Sister Warren, Sister and Brother Ellinger, and Brother Warren.
More to come as I try to catch up....
