Our last day on the road as we head back to Nauvoo.

A beautiful temple.  About triple the size of Palmyra and Columbus.  This is the main entrance.
Side view.
A closer view of the side windows but it had gotten pretty rainey by the time we left after the session.  It is a gorgeous temple.  If you go to: http://www.ldschurchtemples.com/indianapolis/video/, you can see a short video of the inside of the temple.  Pay special attention to the Terrestrial Room and the lights in the overhead.  Very beautiful and have particular significance to the House of David.
After this we headed off towards Nauvoo and our final goodbyes/packing.  Arriving later that day.  We put a little less than 2,200 miles on the old jalopy between Monday and Saturday evening.  But, it was well worth it to see so many sites of significant historical import to Latter-Day Saints.  It was a wonderful opportunity for both of us.  To be where the Prophet walked and feel of his spirit as well as those that came before.  What a spectacular trip...
